EN And while on the road, the temperature started rising, the sun became really hot and the scene

[EN] The weather during our stay in Villarrica wasn't the best.

[EN] Villa Oliva again, in our wild camping spot next to the river.

[EN] We were only 4-5 kilometers after Villa Franca when sh*t started.

[EN] After a few days, we left Asuncion heading south following the Paraguay river.

[EN] This time our trip is slightly different for many reasons.

[EN] We took the narrow road, rode through the mud, crossed a tiny village and there it was: the

[EN] Sometimes, riding through tall grass on the narrow paths next to the road, is way better tha

[EN] After several kilometers on the notorious empedrado, some more on pure red-dirt-roads, some

[EN] Go to Mbaracayú Forest Nature Reserve, they told us.

[EN] Sometimes it's not that easy to take pictures of animals, while others...

[EN] San Estanislao (or as people prefer to call it: Santaní) is a beautiful city built among thi

[EN] We arrived at Puerto Antequera at lunchtime (as usual) and we stopped at the only canteen of

[EN] We spent only one day in Santa Rosa and since we arrived exactly at lunchtime, we went to th

[EN] It was a tiny village and we were looking for some empanadas or anything simple and cheap to

[EN] And while we were enjoying the silence in Cerro Corá all by ourselves, we suddenly heard the

[EN] Paraguay welcomed us with an amazing landscape and...a tremendous thunderstorm.

[EN] ...after sooo many hours of riding with 40-50km/h, countless breaks for coffee to wake us up

[EN] Last night we slept next to a gas station. Not bad at all!

[EN] We made it! We found out why Kitsos' engine died.

[EN] So, as you may read we found ourselves in the middle of nowhere with Kitsos' engine complete

[EN] KITSOS REPORTED DEAD!

[EN] No, we are not in a zoo! These are pictures taken at the campsite where we're staying.

[EN] A somehow weird or even better, creepy place on our way to Maracaju.

[EN] We arrived in a city called Presidente Epitacio and we were happy we found a campsite to pit

[EN] Because at the 5-star hotels breakfast is served right next to your bike and coffee is alway

[EN] We finally made it to a hotel, a “pousada” as they call them here, but the room proved to be

[EN] While entering La Paz from El Alto, you have to go down 500 meters of altitude, until you re

[EN] This is the road between Santa Cruz and La Paz: we already did 173 kilometers and we're stil

[EN] This place isn't called "Siberia" by accident.

[EN] Riding towards La Higuera, we had our first “accident”...In a narrow bend, with the sun blin

[EN] From Sucre to La Higuera (the village where Che Guevara was killed), it was like we were tra

[EN] No other street market (including the Greek ones) can be compared to this of Sucre!

[EN] Luckily we're back in temperatures "normal for us" (city of Sucre).

[EN] For the 5 days we stayed there, we admired the solidarity between the people of Potosi and h

[EN] After a "tremendous effort" (we just greeted the miners on strike) we entered Potosi, which

[EN] The route to Potosi was pure orgasm! Only if we had a bit more horsepower...

[EN] Afrer all this salt, a good wash is necessary (car wash, Uyuni).

[EN] 5-star hotels my ass...(Pescado Island)

[EN] Incahuasi island: at the center of Uyuni salar!

[EN] In Uyuni, we found a relatively cheap room in El Cactu Hostal – 14euros per night.

[EN]Wild-camping at 4,200m, freezing cold, but the view makes you forget about it!

[EN] Laguna Hendionda:here the first flamingos were manufactured in 432bc.

[EN] Laguna Honda: the first Honda enduro motorcycle was manufactured in 1716!

[EN] In most parts of the route it's a bit tricky to find your way.

[EN] The first day I made it to Lake Colorada (180kms).

[EN] “Maximum speed: 60km/h...hahaha...not even in my wildest dreams I could run with that speed!

[EN] The only interesting thing when crossing this border between Chile and Bolivia is that the c

[EN] San Pedro de Atacama was a disappointment for us: too much touristic, too much expensive and

[EN] From here to Uyuni we will be traveling separately.

[EN] I couldn't believe it!

[EN] In Jama (Paso de Jama) we met Jonas, a courageous Swiss guy who wants to travel to Alaska on

[EN] We spent the night at the gas station of the village Susques, just next to the wall so that

[EN] Up to here, the high altitude does not scare the warrior-Vespa!

[EN] We are climbing! 2,300m of altitude...dust, cacti and colorful mountains!

[EN] It was very smart to choose the RN09 to get from Salta to San Salvador de Jujuy and not the

[EN] We didn't want to leave without the proper equipment, so now Alexandra has a tailor made mo

[EN] Searching in vain to find a nice spot to pitch our tent and spend another night for free, we

[EN] Our 3months tourist visa for Argentina expires in few days.

[EN] The Vespa is getting ready for another 150,000 kilometers!

Μετά από πολλά και χοροπηδηχτά χωμάτινα χιλιόμετρα έφτασα στο Sossusvlei, ένα από τα ομορφότερα μ

Καθ'οδόν για Sossusvlei. Αχ και να 'ξερα τι με περιμένει...

Χαζεύοντας τον καθεδρικό ναό στο κέντρο της πόλης...

Στάθηκα τυχερός στο Swakopmund κι έπεσα πάνω σ'αυτό το hostel/camping που κοστίζει μόνον 1,4€ τη

Σαν να δρόσισε αρκετά με το που έπιασα Ατλαντικό! Τσουτσούριασα!

Στο Cape Cross την αράζουν καμία 60αρια χιλιάδες φώκιες!

Άλλο ένα τσάμπα κάμπινγκ, αυτή τη φορά σε πιο μουντό περιβάλλον. Δε με χάλασε καθόλου!

Τσάμπα κάμπινγκ λίγα χιλιόμετρα νότια του Uis, αφού επιτέλους απαλλάχτηκα από τους φράχτες!

Ξέρατε πως ενώ η Μποτσουάνα είναι 4,5 φορές μεγαλύτερη σε έκταση απ'την Ελλάδα, έχει πληθυσμό μόλ

Έχετε καταλάβει πως όταν γουστάρω ένα μέρος "ρίχνω άγκυρες"!

Διανυκτέρευση στο Planet Baobab (κάμπινγκ) με τέλειο ουρανό!

Makgadikgadi pan. Δυστυχώς δεν προχωρά πιο μέσα η βέσπα γιατί βουλιάζει!

Εδώ μπορείτε να "χαϊδέψετε" τους ελέφαντες!

Όταν πρωτοείδα την πινακίδα "προσοχή ελέφαντες" είπα από μέσα μου "έλα ρε, πλάκα με κάνετε, σιγά

4 χώρες ενώνονται σ'αυτό το σημείο. Ζάμπια, Ναμίμπια, Μποτσουάνα και Ζιμπάμπουε!

Ρε τι πράματα είναι αυτά; Κάναμε τόσα χιλιόμετρα για το τίποτα...Σαν τους καταρράκτες της Έδεσσας

Μετά από μια άκυρη προσπάθεια να φτάσω στο Livingstone οδηγώντας νύχτα (σκέτη αυτοκτονία), κοιμή

Μόλις πήρα πρέφα πως ο δρόμος αυτός οδηγεί στη Harare (Zimbabwe) κι όχι στο Livingstone.

Ύστερα από 3 εβδομάδες στη Lusaka παρέα με τη Χριστίνα, ήρθε η ώρα για το μοχίτο του αποχαιρετισμ

Cool κόσμος, δρομάρες, πάμφθηνα καταλύματα, φθηνό και καλό φαγητό!

Με την Χριστίνα, ψάχνοντας εταιρία για να στείλει την μηχανή της πίσω στην Ελλάδα.

Πως μπήκαμε Κονγκό και πως βγαίνουμε...Απλά άλλος κόσμος! Ζάμπια!

Ρε παιδιά ας με τσιμπήσει κάποιος!

Μόλις βγήκαμε από το δάσος και τη ζούγκλα! 5,5 μέρες μέσ' το φορτηγό...

Οι ντόπιοι οδηγοί εδώ στο Κονγκό ξέρουν φυσικά τους "δρόμους" (χνάρια καλύτερα ή πατημασιές) απ'έ

Mbuji Mayi. ή αλλιώς η διαμαντούπολη του Κονγκό (μέχρι και σήμερα).

Αφού χαιρέτησα τον Γερμανό, δίνοντας ραντεβού στο Λουμπουμπάσι, κάθησα στην άκρη του δρόμου και τ

Την τρίτη μέρα, αν υπάρχει Θεός μας λυπήθηκε!

«Πλάκα με κάνεις τώρα, ε;;; Βροχή;;; Ρε βροχή;;;» αυτό φώναζα συνέχεια την δεύτερη μέρα!

«Εφιάλτης στο δρόμο με την άμμο!» Ο καταλληλότερος τίτλος για την 1η ουσιαστικά δύσκολη μέρα μας

Το «Κινσάσα-Λουμπουμπάσι» άρχισε δυνατά!

Από Ελλάδα έκανα την ηλιθιότητα να τσιγκουνευτώ 2 φράγκα παραπάνω και ν'αγοράσω έναν καινούριο εφ

Στο Κεμπέζε, οι "παππούδες" της παρέας ήθελαν λίγες ανέσεις, κι έτσι για να μην τους κακοκαρδίσου

Ο μαχαλάς των ταξιδευτών!

Τρομερές οι ανέσεις και η ασφάλεια που προσφέρουν οι τέσσερις τροχοί, αλλά...εδώ σε θέλω μάστορα!

Στην Brazzaville, στο ξενοδοχείο που μέναμε, έλαβε χώρα μια εντελώς τυχαία "συνάντηση κορυφής".

Έβγαλα 850 χιλιόμετρα στεγνός κι έπρεπε να μπω μέσα στην πόλη για να αρχίσει να ρίχνει καρέκλες!

Άιντε και περάσαμε και τον Ισημερινό!

Ακόμα δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω από που βγάζουν ορισμένοι άνθρωποι (δυστυχώς είναι αρκετοί στις μέρες

Είμαι ζωντανός!

Στην πόλη της Ouesso έμεινα 2 μέρες.

Φτάνουμε σιγά-σιγά. Οι μπάτσοι με τα μπλόκα τους έχουν καθυστερήσει πολύ το ταξίδι μας.

Τελικά δεν είναι κι άσχημα να ταξιδεύεις με αυτοκίνητο. Ειδικά απ'την θέση του συνοδηγού!

Τυφλά να'χει το Camel Trophy και το Paris Dakar!

Όσα λένε για τη δυσκολία της διαδρομής μπαίνοντας στο Κονγκό είναι παραπάνω από αλήθεια, ειδικά γ

Κι ενώ ήμουν έτοιμος να στήσω τη σκηνή σε μια "καλή καβάτζα", 10 άτομα με περικύκλωσαν και με...π

Οι άνθρωποι στο Καμερούν είναι αυτό που λέμε "ήρεμη δύναμη"! Ούτε κολλητσίδες, ούτε μουντρούχοι.

Τώρα αρχίζουν τα δύσκολα που λέει κι ο Ρουβάς...

Έχω πάθει ζημιά με τόση ομορφιά!

Το καλύτερο Πάσχα της ζωής μου! Ούτε κατσίκι, ούτε μαγειρίτσα.

Τις τέσσερις τελευταίες μέρες δεν κάνουμε τίποτε άλλο απ'το να οδηγούμε για τουλάχιστον 10 ώρες η

Κάπως έτσι είναι η autostrada της Νιγηρίας! Κι αυτό είναι μόνο ένα μικρό δείγμα...

Τέλος της πρώτης και ίσως πιο περιπετειώδους (λέγε με κουραστική) ημέρας του ταξιδιού!

Από την πόλη Niki στα βόρεια του Μπενίν, περάσαμε στη Νιγηρία.

Έπειτα απ'την καθαρόαιμη αφρικανική εμπειρία στο Μπενίν, με τους 100% ανδρικούς δρόμους , σε λίγο

Χτες οδηγήσαμε στο χειρότερο δρόμο (από Allada προς Bohicon)! Σήμερα ο Θεός μάλλον μας λυπήθηκε!

Σφιχτό το πρόγραμμα για τις επόμενες μέρες.

Απ'την πρώτη στιγμή που μπήκαμε στο Τόγκο, το λάτρεψα αυτό το μέρος!

Λίγο πριν συναντήσουμε τον Ηλία και τη Χριστίνα και μπούμε στη Γκάνα, παρατήρησα πως η μπροστινή

Βίζα για την Γκάνα είναι ΑΔΥΝΑΤΟ να πάρετε! Χωρίς πολύπτυχο είναι επίσης ΑΔΥΝΑΤΟ να μπείτε!

Τον Ηλία και την Χριστίνα (madnomad.gr) δεν καταφέραμε να τους συναντήσουμε στην Ελλάδα και τους

Από αυτή την κοπέλα ψωνίζαμε καθημερινά τα ζαρζαβατικά μας στην Ουαγκαντούγκου.

Ξεβρωμίζοντας τα κορμιά μας στους καταρράκτες...

Κοιτάζοντας τον χάρτη είδαμε πως στην πόλη Banfora υπάρχουν καταρράκτες!

Νέο ρεκόρ συνόρων! 30 λεπτά και μηδέν ευρώ!

Μετά από 20 μέρες στο πολύ "επικίνδυνο" Μάλι, έχω να πω μόνον τα καλύτερα γι'αυτή τη χώρα και του

Επιτέλους ξανά στον δρόμο!

Επιδιορθώνοντας την τρύπια σαμπρέλα μου σε υπαίθριο "συνεργείο" για λιγότερα από 0.45€!!!

Επιτέλους φτάσαμε στο Bamako!

Ανεφοδιασμός σε νερό και βενζίνη.

Α, εδώ δεν υπήρχε κάτι το ιδιαίτερο. Απλά μου έκανε εντύπωση το όνομα του χωριού.

Πριν λίγο έφαγα το πιο επικίνδυνο πρωινό.

Το πέρασμα στο Mali μας κόστισε μόλις μια ώρα και μηδέν € χάρη στο πολύπτυχο!

Μετά απ'το ευκολότερο πέρασμα συνόρων του ταξιδιού μας μέχρι τώρα (Σενεγάλη-Μάλι σε μόλις 1 ώρα κ

Άλλο ένα βράδυ στη φύση, λίγο μετά την Kedougou. Αυτή είναι η καθημερινότητά μας.

Καθημερινά κάνουμε στάση στο πρώτο βενζινάδικο που θα συναντήσουμε κι ανεφοδιαζόμαστε με νερό, γε

Ποτέ δεν θα ξανακούσω τον Άγγλο.

Σ'αυτό το σημείο υπήρχε ένα πολύ στενό μονοπάτι που οδηγούσε κάπου βαθιά μέσα στο δάσος και δίπλα

Για άλλη μια βραδιά υπνάκος for free, λίγο πριν την Tambacounda.

Όπου και να προσπαθήσαμε να κρυφτούμε, πάντα κάποιος μας έβρισκε!

Και στη Σενεγάλη και στο Μάλι οι άνθρωποι σε κάνουν να νιώθεις πολύ άνετα.

Με τον Liam είπαμε να το ρίξουμε στη λιτότητα!

Μας έφαγε αυτός ο Βροχίδης, μπαομπάμπ και μπαομπάμπ...Ορίστε! Σαν ξερό πλατάνι δεν μοιάζει;

Ο Liam κατάφερε για 2η φορά στο ταξίδι να καταστρέψει τον κινητήρα του C90!

7palava κάμπινγκ στο St.Louis. Χριστούγεννα με 37 βαθμούς!

Υπομονή και φαντασία τα όπλα μας για να περάσουμε όσο το δυνατό πιο αναίμακτα τα σύνορα!

Με την Κατερίνα, τη νοσοκόμα απ'τη Σλοβενία, που θέλει να φτάσει μόνη με το ποδήλατό της στη Μαδα

Απ'την Πέμπτη μένουμε σ'ένα υπέροχο μέρος, στο Sahara Auberge, κι έχουμε γίνει κολλητάρια με τον

Λίγο μετά τις 00:00 ήμασταν ξανά στον δρόμο με στόχο να φτάσουμε Nouakchott, αλλά ήμασταν τόσο κο

Αφού ο μ@λ@κ@ς βενζινάς δεν κατάφερε να μας πουλήσει βενζίνη προς 3€/lt, κι έπειτα από 31 ώρες ομ

Είμαστε δυστυχώς όμηροι του βενζινά, που μας λέει πως το μαγικό ζουμί ίσως έρθει αύριο πρωί.

Βενζίνη τέλος, αλλά δυστυχώς δεν έχουν ούτε σ'αυτό το υπερσύγχρονο βενζινάδικο.Παντού υπάρχει μόν

Περάσαμε τα σύνορα Δυτικής Σαχάρας - Μαυριτανίας σε λιγότερο από 2.5 ώρες, χωρίς ν'ανοίξει μύτη!

Motel στη μέση του πουθενά, λίγο πριν τα σύνορα με την Μαυριτανία.Μην το βλέπετε έτσι, στα μάτια

Ακολουθήσαμε τη συμβουλή του Κορεάτη και διανυκτερεύσαμε σ'αυτό το πανέμορφο σημείο, φυσικά δωρεά

Πρώτη φορά βγάζω τόσο ευχάριστα τόσα χιλιόμετρα και σε τέτοιο ισιάδι!

Διανυκτέρευση, κλασσικά σε κάμπινγκ, λίγο έξω απ'το Tan Tan απόψε.

Το πρώτο μας βράδυ στα σκηνάκια, υπό τον ήχο των κυμάτων του Ατλαντικού!

Καλώς ή κακώς, χρειαζόμαστε λίγη ξεκούραση.

Όχι άλλο κόντρα άνεμο ρε θεέ, και μάλιστα σε ανηφόρες με κλίση 45 μοίρες!

Καλά αμμόλοφους δεν ανέβηκα (βαριόμουν μωρέ...) αλλά τις γυροβολιές μου τις έκανα!

Μετά από μια πολύ ωραία ημέρα ταξιδιού, φτάσαμε επιτέλους στο κάμπινγκ μας στη Merzouga!

Στάση στο Erfoud για φαγητό. Άντε και σε λίγο φτάνουμε Merzouga!

Η πρώτη μας διανυκτέρευση σε κρεβάτι έπειτα από 14 νύχτες σε σκηνή, έγινε σ'αυτό εδώ το ξενοδοχει

Άλλο ένα παγωμένο βράδυ στη σκηνή, αυτή τη φορά στο κάμπινγκ-πάρκινγκ της Kenitra και αύριο Rabat

Αύριο πρωί ξεκινάμε για Rabat.

Για μερικές μέρες λέμε να μείνουμε στο κάμπινγκ της Chefchaouen και να μπούμε έτσι πιο ήπια στο κ

Απίστευτο το σκηνικό στο "δρόμο" απ'το λιμάνι της Ταγγέρης έως Chefchaouen!

Μετά απ'τη "σπιτική" μακαρονάδα, ώρα για λίγη διασκέδαση με ζωντανή μαροκινή μουσική, και όλα αυτ

Πέρα απ'την απίστευτη πρωινή ναυτία, όλα τώρα είναι καλά!

Πρωινό στο καράβι. Φρυγανιές, μέλι, κρουασάν και ζεστός καφές απ'το καμινέτο.

Σε λίγο παίρνουμε το καράβι για Μαρόκο. Σε 3 μέρες θα πατήσουμε Αφρική!

Σ'αυτό το σπίτι κοιμηθήκαμε χτες βράδυ, φιλοξενούμενοι μιας οικογένειας μέσω του couchsurfing!
